I am committed to carrying the best equestrian brands. I also promise you reasonable prices. I’ve worked hard to curate the best products based upon my own use. As a horse owner and rider, I get recommendations from local riders, trainers and industry experts. My ears are always open. If you see me around the barn, on the trail, at a show, please come up and say hello. More importantly, tell me what you need for your horse or you.

My goal is to be the best CT tack shop and CT equestrian center. To do that, I carry the most popular brands. But there is more to it than that.

A point often overlooked by the bigger stores is creating good relationships with vendors and suppliers. Fortunately, my previous career experience comes in very handy managing my equestrian center. For example Horze Equestrian is a wonderful company based in Finland. Did you know its U.S. warehouse is just a few miles away from Cheshire? Most items not in stock, I can have next day.

Regular meetings with my product reps keeps me up to date. I learn what’s coming, what’s working and what’s best for my customers. You can also influence my inventory. Let me know what you need. Unique Brands and Products Too

As a small businesswoman, I also sought out some wonderful unique products from smaller companies. I wanted special things big box stores and feed stores do not carry. For example, I carry Warhorse Solutions soaps for leather, horses, pets and people. They’re made by a delightfully conscientious company in Tryon, North Carolina. They use all natural, non-GMO botanicals. The founder of the company, Tawana Weicker is a former English teacher. She found a second career in making these wonderful cleaning products. They were recommended to me by one of the top dressage riders in the country.

I also found Colorado Hemp Honey. This small company in Parker, Colorado makes a wonderful honey infused with full spectrum, cannabinoid rich hemp extract (no THC) and organic essential oils. It is wonderful for calming and offering pain relief for people, horses and pets. I enjoyed it with tea to soothe some back pain from a fall. Everything is carefully sourced and made in small batches. My dressage trainer told me about it.
